RESOURCES DATABASE

is a searchable database full of information on a wide variety of institutions
in the region offering educational resources and activities in Western Massachusetts
supporting instruction in adult basic education and ESOL. The database includes
information on diverse institutions located in western Massachusetts - environmental
agencies, service agencies, museums, historical societies, newspapers, and
TV stations and more.
The focus is on the content areas of the Curriculum Frameworks: Science, Social Sciences, Health, Arts, and English/Language Arts. History was added as a separate content area. We specifically tried to identify resources in programs that offer materials or activities for two general purposes: (1) Those that help teachers develop classroom curricula and (2) Those that help adult learners master the material The resources offered by the institutions in the database include: Activities & Programs Print Materials Videos, Film & Audio Teacher Resources Foreign Languages |
